It’s a very exciting time for Belgian beer lovers at Craft with the arrival of beers that, in the wine world, would be the likes of Hill of Grace and Grange.  Beer with a history that delves back even further than that of Georgian wine. This is Grand Cru beer… BELGIAN BEER! 

Steeped in history and tradition, these are beers that have been made via spontaneous fermentation by breweries that are essentially working museums. Beers that are made in working farmhouses,  beers made with heirloom cherries indigenous to a tiny area in the north west part of Brussels, vintage beers with a lineage to some of the oldest breweries in the world and beers that dominate as the most highly regarded and top rated in the world.

To get some perspective, wine of this quality would cost you hundreds - occasionally thousands -  of dollars a bottle. Yet, in the beer world, we are very lucky that beers of such quality, depth and complexity are affordable for all. Thank you Belgium!

Not only do we have returning favourites but also some beers new to Craft, from the likes of Brasserie Dupont, St Bernardus, Rodenbach, Lindemans, St Feuillien, Brouwerij De Brabandere and Val Dieu Abbey to name a few.

Some of the Belgian beauties are in super limited quantities, while the others won’t be around too long either. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
