Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris from a terrific vintage, which was handpicked and then cool fermented in stainless steel and old French oak puncheons, followed by a further four months on lees. Dilute yellow in colour, the nose is absolutely classical Pinot Gris – pears, crisp apple notes, a hint of citrus like freshly grated lemon rind. Very attractive in every respect, this has good focus, a seductive texture, a lingering finish and a pleasing flick of acidity running the length, tying things together. There is a lot to like here so gorgeous drinking now, and at any stage over the next three to four years. 92 Points - Ken Gargett, Winepilot.com
