"This wine always has a bit going on. It's pithy, with top notes of grapefruit and preserved lemon, a shred of musk, spiced pear, green melon, quince and an undercurrent of flinty, gravelly, saline flavours. The texture abounds, too; the acids generate ripples of tension, drawing out the ends of fruit into a sustained finish.
