Our Verdict
A highland malt - meaning fine, aromatic, gentle - matured in used bourbon casks. So there is a mix of the sublime and the raucous. And the oak does play a major part in the characters of this spirit, but time has melded it with the more subtle notes of citrus and spice, caramel and honey.
