Our Verdict

Oakridge makes an extraordinary range of Yarra Pinot Noirs from a menagerie of vineyards; the home vineyards at Coldstream to Upper Yarra. And every wine has purpose; distinctly different but all touched with the Oakridge wand.

The Yarra Valley is sourced mainly from the cooler, Upper Yarra vineyards, then treated traditionally in the winery. It has plenty of complexity and class, especially given its price. Unmistakably Yarra, it is a wine with lushness and power, but also finesse.
