When I tumbled into the world of wine several decades ago, Mount Mary Quintet was the Godhead, the pinnacle of Australian wine. So much has happened to Mount Mary, me and the Australian wine scene. Yet it remains one of the most important wines produced in the country. Always elegant, always long-lived, always sought after. It is a wonderful wine that needs time in the cellar to hit its straps.  T.H.
