Always fine (even before fine Chardonnay became a thing), always pristine, Mount Mary - the original Australian cult producer - has stuck to its guns when it come to wine style and quality. Every Mount Mary wine has cellar-age in its DNA, and the Chardonnay is no different. Beautifully paced, subtle, seamless. think grapefruit, cashew, a lick of cream and splash of vanilla oak.  I’ve really just simplified a complex puzzle … badly. TH

"A bit of a richer style for Mount Mary Chardonnay in 2021. Pear, quince, some struck match and cedar spice. It has a fair amount of power, with a juicy acid line, a firm flinty texture, apple and pear, cashew and sizzled butter with sage, and a tight finish offering preserved lemon, apricot and a zesty tang.
