Aurélien Laherte’s 100% Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs Les Longues Voyestranslates as ‘the long way’, referring not only to the 25 km that you need to travel from the Laherte Estate to arrive at the vineyard, but also the wine’s extended aging: 18 months in barrel and a further 18-20 months in bottle.

“The 2017 Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs Les Longues Voyes 1er Cru, 100% Pinot Noir, is the most impressive and complete of the three lieu-dit selections from Laherte this year. Silky and aromatic, with lovely mid-weight presence, the Longues Voyes is all class. Sweet red cherry, red plum, dried flowers and chamomile all grace this exquisite, beautifully polished Blanc de Noirs. The 2017 is a real success, especially for the vintage.
