Our Verdict

This barrel was part of our Cerise program that rested on second use of whole European sour cherries since 2016. The lighter than normal fruit addition has resulted in a light staining of pink that has more cherry notes rather than a juicy cherry character that melds seamlessly with the barrel character in this wild ale.
