Our Verdict

Praline chocolate, hazelnut & vanilla stout is a a cult favourite and one of the flagship beers for farmhouse and wild ale specialists, La Sirène.

Brewed with dark malts, combined with hand-scraped organic vanilla pods and Mexican cacao nibs, this velvety rich chocolate ale is then open fermented to add a welcome acidity for a finish that borders somewhat on sour dessert stout territory.

June 2024 marked 10 years since the debut of Praline and to celebrate, La Sirène released 6 variations of Praline deliciousness. This is a higher-ABV version of the original praline loaded with extra cacao, hazelnuts & vanilla.
