Our Verdict

" This wine sees some barrel fermentation and time on lees to build complexity. There's tonic water, lime, a touch of radish, some chamomile and red apple in the bouquet; a pleasing, fruity and gently savoury start. The palate follows on well, a bit more apple, green to taste, some spicy radish alongside, tart lime with some briny mineral characters in tow. A fine, powdery feel to the edges of texture with a bright, juicy core. There's a sense of gentle wateriness to the wine overall, just a little pale in overall nature, but the refreshment factor is high, it ticks boxes for varietal character and generally feels pleasing to drink."  Mike Bennie. 92 Points.  Halliday Wine Companion.
