The Basket Range in the Adelaide Hills is something of a melting pot for winemakers doing things at the Lo-Fi end of things. And consistently one of the best is Gentle Folk; a small, family-operated winery with an obvious commitment to purity and site. These are beautiful wines that express their origins perfectly.

Late summer, for the past decade, has meant the release of the Gentle Folk wines. And in the Realm of ‘natty’ wines, Gentle Folk has always held the enviable position of being both Lo-fi and carefully, superbly made, making late summer a special part of the vinous calendar.
