Easily the best value Chablis on the market...

There is a commonality to the Domaine Laroche Chablis’, and it’s a textural thing. My guess is that it’s a product of the long lees ageing. Whatever. But there is a very tangible silky, almost oily, glycerol thing happening. And it suits the wine.

This is a benchmark A.C. Chablis in its racy acidity, but creamy (oyster-shell maybe. That’s the common descriptor, but having never eaten an oyster shell, I’m not in a position to affirm or deny), lemon-pith style. Classic? Perhaps. Definitely delicious.
