Our Verdict
A solera-aged rum (averaging at least 12 years), from what is a true solera - young barrels at the top, cascading to increasingly older barrels below. There is an obvious (but very pleasant) hint of oak, and a fairly rich, Christmas pudding/dried fruit character. This is a compelling rum, and comparatively good value.
