Our Verdict

The story of Cobaw Ridge stretches back to 1985. Its DNA is etched with the cool climate of Macedon, biodynamic practices and the sort of terroir driven, singular wines that only seem to come from small, hand-reared patches of vines. It’s Lagrein is arguably the best in Australia.

The current release sees the return of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and crowd favourite Il Pinko Rose. While volumes  are fractionally better than in previous years the wines are still extremely limited.
