Sue Bell is one of the most beautiful characters in Australian winemaking. She has journeyed from making vast quantities of wine for a board of directors, to making wine the way she likes … for herself. Based in Coonawarra, with some land in Wrattonbully, her style is hands-on, very-small-batch, and somehow wholesome: you can sense the effort, the soil, the intent in every wine she makes. This is Coonawarra Cabernet with impeccable pedigree, aged at home before release when Sue feels it is ready.
