Our Verdict

John Hughes is the man behind Riesling Freak, and as the name suggests, he loves his Riesling. So much so, he only produces Rieslings, sourcing from different vineyards around South Australia and making it in different styles. This is the number 8, a sweet style wine with ripe passionfruit, grapefruit and green apple notes. This is all balanced by zippy acidity. This is certainly one for cellar, but can also be drunk now.
