A delicious sweet treat thanks to Yalumba. 

This luscious dessert wine is deep amber to tawny in colour. The wine showcases Muscat’s perfumed florals: pretty rose petals, ginger spices and orange peel, with butterscotch and fruit cake. The palate is soft and luscious in texture, richly flavoured showing a melange of raisined fruit, wood aged characters, dense fruit cake and spices, with a delicately integrated spirit finish.

"Like Rutherglen Muscat, shrivelled and partially raisined berries are fermented briefly on skins, then fortified. Fruit is sourced from red and black (as well as Rutherglen’s brown) Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains mutations. Ageing in hogsheads and barriques dials up the richness (360g/l residual sugar), unleashing bourbon and marzipan-like nutty notes to its boozy Christmas pudding and medjool date flavour.
