"Chief winemaker Andrew Quin has a deft touch with grenache, and this latest release captures all that is fabulous and fragrant with Barossa grenache. Sourced from two blocks at Seppeltsfield and utilising 30% whole bunches, this really speaks of its place and demonstrates why grenache is such an exciting variety in Australia.
Alluring and heady aromas of pot-pourri, dried herbs, violets, blueberry, sarsaparilla and Asian spice. Mouth-filling, textured and with lovely purity and weight. Blue fruits, spice, earth, cherry and creamy red fruits are all at play. The tannins are layered and silken and the acidity brings plenty of ping and snap to the finish.
