And then there is the Henschke Hill of Grace – my longtime favourite amongst the South Australian super-wines. The Hill of Grace vineyard lies in the Eden Valley and was originally planted in 1860; falling into the hands of the Henschke family in 1891. The style, again, is power with elegance and the unshakeable Eden Valley high-notes; it is a wine of intensity, depth and wonderful perfume. Tony Harper
