Our Verdict

Cape Byron's first release sets a benchmark for Australian whisky. Mentored and inspired by Scotland's living legend distiller, Jim McEwan of Bowmore and Bruichladdich fame, Eddie Brook has created this delicious limited edition release.

Aged in Australian Chardonnay casks displays impressive depth and refinement. Rich notes of cocoa and roasted nuts greet the nose, with a silky palate of dried fruits and maple completing a rather decadent and beautifully balanced whisky experience. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 48% alc.

A very limited release of 1550 bottles.
