Our Verdict

Without question one of the greatest rosé wines of Champagne. 

For a producer renowned for the depth and complexity of his champagnes, it’s kind of dichotomous that Francis Egly makes a rose that is the epitome of gentleness … finesse. Largely pinot with around 30% Chardonnay, with 50% from the 2016 vintage and the vins de réserve split between 2015 and 2014.

This is an exquisite rose with layers, texture, negligible sugar and impeccable quality.
