Bream Creek Estate Pinot Noir 2024
Our Verdict
Bream Creek straddles, in terms of Tasmanian wine producers, the traditional and the contemporary. Its land was planted to vines in the early 1970’s, and its most recent history, under the guidance of Fred Peacock, began in 1990. Today it’s Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sparkling are some of the best in the country.
“Australian Pinot is improving exponentially year on year and those classes were outstanding – we could have easily brought back 12 different Pinots to be judged for Grand Champion. (The Bream Creek 2024) is a wine for the ages and one the Australian wine industry should be very proud of. It has great clarity and beautiful complexity – it just rose to the top in the most beautiful way during judging.” Royal Queensland Wine Show 2025 Chief Judge; Julian Langworthy
