Our Verdict
The 2017 Barbaresco Maria di Brün is one of few releases that only grace our palates in the very best vintages. It is named after Romano’s mother, Maria, and made of a special selection of the low-yielding, late ripening Michet clone of Nebbiolo, which typically shows an herbal profile with notes of thyme, sage and mint.
This wine will reward patient cellaring.
