2025 Someday Never Comes (Approachable Red)

This wine drinks more like a pinot than Sangiovese. It’s got fruit upfront but is predominantly savoury in charcter, cranberry and blackberry notes then the acid line and tannin profile really shine through. It was intentionally a low extraction ferment to keep it on the lighter, more playful side. This wine punches well above it’s price point.

Someday Never Comes is 100% Sangiovese from the Chalmers vineyard on the rocky slopes of Mt Camel. The soils are ancient Cambrian volcanic and are comprised of dolerite, green jasper and ironstone to name a few. Winemaker Notes
