For a producer renowned for the depth and complexity of his champagnes, it’s kind of dichotomous that Francis Egly makes a rose that is the epitome of gentleness … finesse. Largely pinot with around 35% Chardonnay, and an equal mix of 2013 and an assemblage of reserve wines, this is an exquisite rose with layers, texture, negligible sugar and impeccable quality.
