Our Verdict
With warmer days and picnics ahead we brewed a watermelon XPA in collaborationwith our friends at Common People Brewery.
We love teaming up with our brewery friends for a good collab. Long-time Craft fans might remember favourites like the Vanta Black IPA with Black Hops, the Night Shift Coffee Stout with Range Brewing and Coffee Supreme, and of course, the Western Red IPA from Seven Mile - a crowd-pleaser we’ve asked them to re-brew a bunch of times because people just can’t get enough.
The Craft crew drove down to Bangalow to help make the beer, which included juicing a heap of watermelons. The result? A light, crisp beer that lets the watermelon shine. Clean, refreshing and dangerously crushable - the perfect beer for a picnic. Naturally, we called it a Picnic Ale.
