Our Verdict

Mee Godard is a tiny domaine – just six hectares – working primarily in the Morgon cru. These are stunning wines. Very limited.

Godard’s wines are impressive, perhaps a little more opulent than some others but rooted in purity and balance. Stylistically they remind me of Domaine Anita, albeit with less flamboyance and more mineralité. Prices for the top cuvées are comparatively higher than those of her peers, but in my mind these wines are worth the extra penny. Neal Martin, Vinous
